DAVAO DEL SUR | AUGUST 22, 2022 – As FPA continues its commitment to provide awareness on the safe and judicious use of agricultural inputs, Provincial Officer (PO) Imelda Rasay discussed the safe, proper, and judicious use of crop protection during her guesting at DXKL 97.5 Radyo astig on August 12, 2022.

During the live broadcast, Ms. Rasay highlighted the importance of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which include proper environmental management to safeguard workers’ health welfare. In addition, proper use and handling of agricultural inputs, proper wearing of PPEs, and the importance of pesticide label information were emphasized. 

She also reminded the listeners to always put the safety of the community as a top priority. “There should always be an equilibrium that would benefit both the safety of the community and agriculture without harming the health of the people,” Ms. Rasay said.
