The HR section finished the year 2018 strong after receiving a recognition from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for implementing the Program on Institutionalizing Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).


The latter aims to elevate public sector human resource management to a level of excellence through assessment, assistance, and awarding processes of Human Resource Management (HRM) Systems, Practices, and Competencies using HRM maturity level indicators that are at par with global HRM standards.


A team from the CSC - NCR facilitated the PRIME-HRM validation on November 14, 2018. After their assessment, they verified that FPA was compliant to the Four Core HRM systems such as: Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP), Performance Management (PM), and Learning and Development (L&D), and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).


Further, they commended FPA’s HR processes as being attuned to the CSC requirements. Similarly,  programs are performed and managed according to documented processes, and some these processes are proactively managed through the use of automated systems.


On December 20, 2018, the award has been officially given by CSC NCR Director Fe P. Lacaba to FAD Supervising Admin Officer Ma. Theresa Oliveros and HR Head Josephin Guntan at the DA-CSC Office.
