FPA V conducts virtual orientation among National Rice Program fertilizer voucher beneficiaries

October 2, 2021 | Bicol-  In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office V, and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), the FPA Region V participated during the online orientation during the National Rice Program – Fertilizer Discount Voucher and Agri-preneur Orientation, attended by DA Accredited Merchants and FPA Licensed Dealers on October 1, 2021.

To hasten the distribution of fertilizer vouchers and to make the fertilizer supplies accessible to our farmers, DA RFO V explained that there shall be atleast one accredited Fertilizer merchant per city/municipality.

Meanwhile, the BPI introduced their loan programs that the participants may avail of to boost their agribusiness.

The activity was attended by DA-RFO5 Rice Focal Person Mr. Lorenzo Alvina & Rice Program Representatives; DA-FPA Bicol Regional Officer Mr. Gabriel B. Atole & DA-FPA Provincial Officers; from BPI Mr. Joey Malabanan & BPI Representatives; DA Accredited Fertilizer Merchants and FPA Licensed Dealers.
