FPA-CAR continually supports LGUs’ agricultural endeavors

December 22, 2021 l Benguet: In partnership with the LGUs and various entities within the fertilizer and pesticide industry, FPA-CAR continually provides on-sites and face-to-face information and education campaigns on safe and judicious use of fertilizer and pesticide products.

FPA-CAR Regional Officer Rogelio B. Tanguid and Provincial Officer Rowena F. Billig participated in the season-long Farmer Field School (FFS) graduation 2021 cum information dissemination of agricultural programs at Cattubo Barangay Hall, Atok, Benguet on December 21, 2021. The activity was organized and spearheaded by the Municipal Agriculture Office of Atok municipality.

The ten (10) graduates received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as rainboots, goggles, respirator, and gloves from the Crop Protection Association of the Philippines (CPAP), including the farmer-cooperator for the FFS duration.  Additional thirty sets of PPE (masks, gloves, and googles) from CPAP plus 10 sets of similar PPE donated by a licensed dealer, New Super Farmer Store, were distributed to all the participants of the activity, including the graduates. // Rowena F.
